How to view web pages and send e-mails directly from an app

A new section has arrived in my website: iOS solutions. The aim of this section is to give useful tips to iOS developers to help them improve their apps. There are some downloads available as well, mostly simple classes that are boring to develop but still very nice.

New app for iPhone: Save my QR

Almost everybody knows QR codes. There are plenty of apps that read QR codes, but none of them is secure enough: QR codes could hide malicious information that might be armful. That’s why you need an app that allows you to decide whether to use the information stored in a code or not.

Save my QR reads the codes and after decoding it and showing its content it allows you to use the information, store it for later or discard it. This way you have total control over what’s inside the QR codes.

You can download this very useful app directly from the App Store.

In the presentation I described the main features of the app and how to develop them, with some simple code samples.

Moreover, I uploaded the paper we wrote as well, to explain how the app works and the main issues we had to face. The paper can be read on the app page.
